Dorothy Marvil Memorial Scholarship
Eight, $3,000 Dorothy Marvil Memorial Scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors, with one scholarship awarded to a graduating high school senior from a school in each of the seven counties we serve.*

Motion Scholar-Athlete Scholarship
To apply, applicants shall have a minimum 3.25 unweighted GPA and have participated in MPSSAA-recognized interscholastic athletics or Allied/Unified/Corollary sports only.
$1,000 scholarships toward post-secondary education will be awarded to outstanding senior male and female scholar-athletes attending a MPSSAA member school. For 2016, a male and female recipient will be selected from each of the nine Districts that comprise the MPSSAA. Students with an immediate family member (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, ward, daughter or son and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) employed by The Allstate Foundation ("Sponsor"), Allstate Insurance Company, any Allstate Insurance agency and persons living in their same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win this scholarship.

Maryland College Aid Processing System (MDCAPS)
MDCAPS is MHEC's comprehensive financial aid system that allows us to process State scholarship applications and allocate funds more efficiently using today's technology. To use MDCAPS, you must first create a student login profile. The profile creation process will request an email address. An activation link will be sent to the email address provided.

The Maryland Hispanic Achievement
To apply for this $2,000 scholarship, applicants must currently be a high school senior or an undergraduate student attending a college or university in the State of Maryland. Students do not have to be of Hispanic or Latino descent to apply for this scholarship.
Applications Requirements:

High School/College/University grade point average of 2.5 or greater

Must have graduated from a Maryland high school or obtained a Maryland GED in the last four years

Must attend a Maryland College or University in the Spring of 2017

Significant contribution of voluntary community service during the last 12 months

Must be a U.S. Citizen, Resident or Dreamer, as defined by the Maryland Dream Act

Must have proof of financial need to continue your higher education
